Terms of Use — AI Keyboard

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the AI Keyboard app ("AI Keyboard", "we", "us"). By downloading or using AI Keyboard, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

The app

AI Keyboard is an iOS keyboard that translates the text you type. It offers an on-device engine, a "your own key" engine using cloud providers you configure, an optional AI Keyboard Pro subscription that translates through our proxy without your own key, and Chat Lens, which sends a cropped chat screenshot to Google Gemini to suggest replies. Free users receive five Chat Lens requests after the app instance passes Apple App Attest and the device allowance is checked with Apple DeviceCheck; Pro subscribers are not subject to that five-request product limit. Translations, screenshot interpretation, and suggested replies are produced by AI models and may occasionally be imperfect; you are responsible for reviewing the result before relying on or sending it.

AI Keyboard Pro subscription

What it is. AI Keyboard Pro is an auto-renewable subscription that lets you translate via our servers using our API key, without configuring your own.
Pricing. AI Keyboard Pro is offered as a monthly plan (US $2.99 / month) and an annual plan (US $19.99 / year). Prices may vary by region and are shown in the app before purchase, in your local currency.
Billing & renewal. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically for the same period and price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
Managing & cancelling. You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on your device. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; access continues until then.
Refunds. Purchases are handled by Apple. Refund requests are subject to Apple's policies; we do not process payments or issue refunds directly.
Fair use. A subscription is for normal personal keyboard use. We may apply reasonable usage limits and may suspend access in case of abuse, automated bulk use, or attempts to resell or proxy the service.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse AI Keyboard, including: using it for unlawful purposes; attempting to bypass usage limits or authentication; reverse-engineering the service to extract our API keys; or using the subscription proxy as a general-purpose translation API outside the app.

Privacy

Your use of AI Keyboard is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how text and subscription data are handled for each engine.

Disclaimer & liability

AI Keyboard is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. Translations may contain errors and should not be relied upon for legal, medical, financial, or other critical purposes without independent review. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the app or translations.

Changes

We may update these Terms; the current version is always posted at this URL with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
